Three days left!
Until submissions for the YCA promo video project closes! It’s as easy as grabbing a camera phone or turning on your in-built laptop webcam, reading from this post, then sending us what you have (can be unedited!) to firstname.lastname@example.org by the 30th of November 2013!
LAST DAYS BEFORE ENTRIES CLOSE!
There are only 5 days left until the promo video project closes, so if you haven’t yet, submit a video for us and you’ll definitely be featured in the promo video! We’re not forcing or pressuring anyone to do this, but we haven’t been as successful with the number of videos as we thought ): If you want to make a video or voice recording, be sure to send it to us before the end of November at email@example.com.
WE’RE AT YOGMEET LONDON MCM EXPO! Aura takes us to Yogmeet and interviews some awesome Yognau(gh)ts!
This video is long overdue, but here it is! Thanks so much to the Yogmeet team for bringing about this special event and to Aura for her hard PR work, filming, and editing of the video!
YCA co-director Anna makes a personal plea for you to join in on the video project cause.
(I didn’t want to have to put my ugly face on camera and talk for five minutes but desperate times call for desperate measures. So I hope this gives you the inspiration because if I can do it, you can do it too!)
Heres a few of the group yogmeet photos I have- Great day ;p
Hey! There’s the banner!
If you’re at Yogmeet right now!
Look for our street team chick Aura and don’t be shy to say hey! Take some photos and record a little piece to be a star in our special Yogmeet video!
Meet YCA street team member, Aura!
Is there a way you could let people who've submitted a YCA video know if they're gonna be included? Like replying to emails or something?
Everyone will be included :D We can’t ask people to submit a video and then not use their footage. Our hearts can’t manage that especially since we love our fellow Yognau(gh)ts too much! If someone isn’t included, it’s because the audio/video is absolutely horrendously low quality. If that’s the case, we’ll email you. We want the YCAs to be about inclusion, so everyone will have their shining moment. Hope that long winded response helped!
It’s done, it’s finally freaking done!
After a much long few weeks, the Yognau(gh)t’s Choice Awards banner for Yogmeet is FINISHED. Probably way later than anticipated which means I have to fork out $60 for express mailing (which I’ll have to ask my parents for). That is, if the person who wanted to be on the street team replies to me ASAP. Otherwise the banner will never make it to Yogmeet ):
It’s very basic because of my painting limitations, but it gets the message across PLUS I added a QR code to make it look cool since it’s not. Alas, this isn’t the first banner that was made. No. It’s the second time I attempted it after a horrendous first try:
This happened after dad told me to wait for the paint to dry before peeling off the stencil (he’s a painter). An ignorant knob, I listened and the dry paint acted like glue thus sticking to the paper and it was all tears.
Having learnt my lesson and peeling the stencil off while the paint is wet resulted in what I have now:
I’m so happy with the result (so are my parents who watched me stress, cry, and tantrum over it). Again, let’s hope this makes it to Yogmeet otherwise I just don’t know what I’m gonna do with myself. Probably die.
Have you made a video yet?
It’s the middle of October, meaning there’s not long until the YCA video project deadline hits us like a ton of bricks. We have so little videos submitted, which is quite saddening. We pretty much envisioned a video that will kick the YCAs into full gear and pump everyone up, but we can’t do that with little to work with ): So please, spare a thought for a little Yognau(gh)t and join in the awesome video project. We want you to be part of the celebratory party!!
